Entrepreneur Kara Goldin is founder and CEO of Hint Water, the San Francsico-based company which produces the leading unsweetened flavored water. Hint also recently launched a sunscreen spray that is oxybenzone and paraben-free and scented with hint fruit essence. Previously, Kara was Vice President of Shopping and E-commerce Partnerships at AOL, where she helped lead the growth of its startup shopping business to a $1 billion enterprise. Kara is an active business speaker and writer, a member of C200, and a member of SFBay YPO. In 2016, Kara launched The Kara Network, a digital resource and mentoring platform for aspiring and established entrepreneurs.

Before becoming a sought-after public speaker, Joan Barnes had an extraordinary entrepreneurial ride. In her late 20s, she founded the groundbreaking Gymboree, which became an international network of franchised play programs—that allowed women to operate a business while raising a family—and expanded into the iconic company-owned retail stores. Later, Joan developed an innovative yoga business to mainstream yoga, which she eventually sold to national chain Yoga Works. To give back after overcoming a debilitating eating disorder, Joan founded Begin from Within, a non-profit dedicated to people with food, weight, and body image issues. She sits on non profit boards and mentors entrepreneurs as well as keeps up her love of a daily yoga practice and mountain hiking.
